Family Fun Day

9 am to 2 pm (Rain date: June 12, 2021)

Reading Muhlenberg Career and Technology Center
2615 Warren Rd, Reading, PA 19604 (off Rt 12)

Registration (below) is required and is free for all artists of all ages. You can register at the event but pre-registration is recommended to guarantee you'll get a space and chalk for your art.

Sidewalk chalk will be provided, or you can bring your own. Children and adults will be in four categories depending on age. Due to Covid-19, suitable masks must be worn at all times (see Covid notice below).

If under the age of 18, this registration must be completed by a parent or other responsible adult, and must accompany the artist at the event.

The day's schedule and artists start times are below: 

Age Groups Starting Times:
Each group will have One-hour to create their unique expression of Kindness.

 4 to 8 years old:
    Check-in by 9 am.

9 to 13 years old
    Check-in by 10 am. 

14 to 18 years old
Check-in by 11 am. 

Check-in by 11 am.

Photographers will be randomly photographing artists and artwork. Artwork will be selected to appear on a website and a 2022 calendar dedicated to local art.
All youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult age 18 or over.


If artist is under 18

If the artist is under 18 years of age, this form must be completed by a parent or responsible adult who is 18 years of age or older, This parent or responsible adult must enter their name below, and must accompany the artist to the event. Enter n/a if not applicable.

ART USAGE NOTICE: By participating in this Street Art Festival you agree that staff and agents of The Camel Project LLC and the Reading Muhlenberg Career and Technology Center (RMCTC) have permission to view, photograph, and record sound and video of you and any art you create at the event. You also agree that The Camel Project LLC and RMCTC are granted usage of photographic images, including video and descriptions of the chosen artwork(s) and artist(s) for display, marketing, and promotional purposes including, but not limited to, films and videos, press releases, event presentations, printed materials and books, online articles, online graphics, online slide shows, online presentations, event materials, and for use on The Camel Project and RMCTC websites.

Please note: all Covid-19 restrictions as of the event date will be followed for all attendees, including participants, spectators, and vendors. Social distancing rules will be in effect and suitable masks must be worn at all times. There will be body temperature checks at the registration station. Hand sanitizer will be available at the registration table located at the Camel Caravan advocacy bus. Please do not attend if you or anyone in your party is sick or not feeling well. Anyone not following the Covid-19 restrictions will be asked to leave the event.
