Pamela Gockley
Pam Gockley is President/Executive Director and Founder of The Camel Project. She is also co-founder and CEO of Vigilant Corp, a technology company, and a college graduate, author of three books, including Not All Camels Are In The Desert and numerous national magazine articles, internationally known speaker, and is the recipient of numerous awards for achievement and development.
But that’s not all there is to Pam. As told in Not All Camels Are In The Desert early in her life she dropped out of school, experienced bullying, poverty, despair, depression, obesity, rebelliousness, lack of self-esteem, drug abuse, run-ins with the law, and worse.
Now Pam wants to share her amazing, life-changing story to Inspire, Motivate, Educate and may even Give Hope to youths and adults struggling with bullying and its consequences. Her warm and engaging, but frank, honest and down-to-earth style will make you cry, laugh and inspire you, all at the same time.
Pam has spoken at many schools and other organizations, including Reading (PA) High School, Kutztown University, Hamburg (PA) High School and many others. She also serves on the Reading-Muhlenberg Career & Technology Center Occupational Advisory Committee
